Fire restriction lifted for Leduc County
Effective immediately, Leduc County is no longer under a fire restriction due to cooler conditions and increased precipitation and has returned to normal status as of 4 p.m., May 20, 2025.
Residents who wish to conduct open burning must have a fire permit; permits can be obtained for free from the County’s burn permits website.
Leduc County thanks the public for its cooperation and compliance with the fire restriction and encourages residents to continue practising responsible burning.
Residents are also encouraged to monitor leduc-county.com and albertafirebans.ca to stay up-to-date on the latest fire burning status.
